Projects in Progress
NYC, NY East 75th Street
Budget is 33K
This was a 2 bedroom apartment full renovation. The renovation was part a separate budget. However we did design it, myself and client. After having such a LARGE renovation, the furnishings all needed to be budget friendly. We had to do the living room and 2 bedrooms. Master bedroom is still in progress. We sourced from Wayfair.com, CB2, Hayneedle.com, Joss and Main.com, All Modern.com and Rugs.com. We found great items all within budget! Client was very happy with the result!
Again, this was a gut renovation, new kitchen made and wall knocked down and built ins put in!
First we did the girls room with a Happy Potter theme! See below…
Them we did the entry way, living room and kitchen ! See below…
Greenport, Long Island
Budget is 25K
This is a full house beautification. Here you will find the before pics of this 100 year old house in Greenport, Long Island.
Client was looking for a full update/redo.
We are painting, putting new floors down in one room, all new window treatments, new bedding, rugs, indoor and all new outdoor furniture.
All of this was done with in her budget.
Note the pictures are some of the before, then we cleaned up and removed a ton of stuff!
This project should be completed by end of March! Stay tuned for final results!
OK results are IN!! see below, we painted and put down new floors in the sun room which was big cost factor and ate up most of budget . Everything else was was furniture update, but it looks GREAT!! All sourced from my favorite websites such as target.com, wayfair.com, amazon.com, zulilly.com and of course a few trips to Homegoods!
We cleaned out the house! First step

Home Office—Chappaqua, NY
The budget for this is 1K.
This is an office renovation that I am working on.
Sort of a blank slate.
We are looking to furnish with fun pieces. Adding some color to a very simplistic style will be so much fun!
Affordable pieces are a MUST this room. stay tuned for details!
Here we have a nursery and bathroom that we need to redo a bit.
Client is looking for affordable solutions because she feels that the room will be outgrown.
We are working with furniture that she currently has. Plan is to get new rug, window treatment and wallpaper an accent wall!! Stay tuned!
Living Room—Rowayton, CT
The budget she has is a strict 2K
Here we have a very simple living room, Client is looking to add color and life. In addition, she had a sun room that she wanted to use as both an office and sun room. So we have to find affordable items for both room!
My plan here is to find easy affordable solutions.
Some valances, pillows, wall art , new table, a mirror and perhaps a lamp or 2!
Lets see what I find!!
I was able to transform this space to a very coastal, yet vintage fun space! Finding many things from my go to sites. Adding in some texture and mixing textures really brought this room together. I added in color with wall art, pillows and valances. We now have a useable office in the sun room also. See below for the result!
And here we are AFTER!!!
Entryway Renovation—Thornwood, NY
Client was looking to completely redo her 2 entry ways. Both were pretty empty and used as a delivery dumping grounds.
First picture shows the before, we cleared out and made some purchases from Ballard.com for the mirror, console table was from Wayfair.com. We got the floor vase and tables from Homegoods.
We also changed the paint color, which wasn’t originally planned. AND WE STAYED in budget! She has her hubby paint ;) We went lighter to open up the room and it came out beautiful! We used BM Wish color and what a difference it made! I am awaiting some more before pics so you can really see!
As for the second entry way, we did a gallery wall with mixtiles and purchases another mirror, from wayfair.com. The piece under the mirror was the only piece in there.
Kitchen Renovation—Briarcliff, NY
Client was looking to redo her kitchen because it was outdated and she was not happy with it! However, doing a 40K plus gut renovation was not in her budget!
We needed this to be more affordable. So...we are going to make this kitchen look brand new for under 15K!
FIRST THINGS FIRST- We are going to open up space with knocking down a wall (1K)
NEXT STEP-Paint everything! walls and cabinets. Then we will add a new door, light fixtures and chairs
We used Benjamin Moore White Dove for the cabinets, BM Balboa Mist for the kitchen walls and dining areas we used Revere Pewter. We had the perfect amount of sunlight for these colors. Remember that is a KEY factor when choosing a paint color
You will not even recognize this space!
We added some chairs from wayfair.com and some pendant lights from build.com

AFTER!! look at this total transformation!
